Privacy
Draft: this describes what the service actually does today, in plain language. It needs legal review (PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, CASL) before launch.
What we collect
- The domain you check, and the public information our checks find about it.
- Your email address, only if you verify one to see detailed results.
- A one-way fingerprint of your IP address, used only to limit how many checks one person can run. We don't store the address itself.
- Basic usage events (for example "a check was started", "an issue was fixed") to understand whether the service is useful.
Cookies
We use one cookie, only after you sign in, to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Where it's kept
Data is stored in Canada (Amazon Web Services, Calgary region) and encrypted.
Who sees it
We don't sell your information and don't share it with security providers or advertisers. If we ever offer to connect you with a provider who can help, we'll only share what you explicitly agree to, at that time.
Security findings about your organisation are never sent to advertising systems.
